Just for fun -some books about dogs. This little book was here in the house. It has 57 full-color illustrations of different breeds inside - but alas, no Corgis.
Rinty, below, belonged to my husband. Inside, he wrote his name and "Mrs. West, 4th Grade".Puppy And Me is full of adorable photographs of children and their dogs. So cute.
And the Little Golden Book of Dogs does include a Corgi!
And the book below,"Flea Market Fidos" is filled with wonderful vintage finds for dog-lovers. I don't collect dog stuff, but I absolutely LOVE this book!
The same authors wrote "Flea Market Baby", which is also a fabulous book. More than a year ago, it was announced in Country Living Magazine that they would publish a third in this series "Flea Market Flowers", but I've heard nothing more about it since. I even contacted the authors (Marie Moss and Barrie Leiner) twice by e-mail to inquire, and, although they responded both times, I'm sorry to say I never did get a straight answer as to when or if this new volume would be forthcoming. There must have been a problem of some sort - but I am still hopeful!
As you may know, I love dogs so all your dog books look very interesting, especially that first photo. I have been out of the loop on reading blogs this weekend so it is great to catch up and see what you have been showing! Have a great week. Twyla
ReplyDeleteAs of right I am only renting for six months and I paid up front, so instead of 25 dollars a month, I am renting for $22.50 a month. They also take a 15% cut of my sales. It's not exactly the deal I was hoping for, but I figure I gotta start somewhere. I was going to do an etsy but they still take a portion of your sales and there is a listing fee. I also did not want to have to deal with shipping. So I felt the booth was a better alternative for right now. I would like to open my own online store and am in the progress of trying to set it up. Thanks for the insight on the trays...I was just so thrilled when I found it!!
ReplyDeleteI love the red book with the airedale on it, my sister has one named Stella and she is a very smart and well trained dog. The flea market fidos book is really cool!
ReplyDeleteSweet puppies! The Corgi at the barn where my daughter rides horses is having puppies in October, and I can hardly wait to see them. I can't imagine how cute Corgi puppies will be. (But I'm not bringing one home!)
ReplyDeleteLove the Flea market baby and dog series. Hadn't heard about the flower one...ooohhhh....I hope they do publish it. Crossing my fingers.
