I can finally say I have been to a true estate sale - the best kind - the kind I see other bloggers writing about all the time, but have never been lucky enough to attend! I NEVER find great rhinestone jewelry like this! Plus a huge brooch with a fleur de lis that looks like a military medal and the sweetest earrings made out of pink and gold rick rack:
And I absolutely LOVE this vintage Christmas candy box with the cottage on it! The red crocheted table cover is from a thrift shop, the boxes and ornaments from the estate sale:
I found great old stock craft supplies and decorations! The blue and green twisted garland has such gorgeous colors. The little silver and brown bunches are little foil butterflies! And what I've shown here isn't half of it:
A pretty table runner, vintage photo in a nice wood frame, aluminum ice bucket, vintage glass canister w/decals, (the set of four red crochet doilies were from a thrift):
A great vintage drawstring bag with silver metallic decoration and little silver-tone leaf charms dangling from it (I love it!) and a lovely little vintage hand mirror, embroidered hand towel, and drawstring crocheted mini-bag - perfect size for my cell phone:
And dozens of vintage patterns - here are just a few:
And a beautiful vintage Japanese paper parasol!
Oh, I was a very happy girl when we left that sale! I wish I had bought even more, but I already felt like I was getting a lot for my money. I didn't even show you everything in the pictures on this post!
Yay for you! Can't decide what I like best - the parasols, the patterns, or that little crocheted bag.
