Let's begin with this sweet robe. Quilted, with pink roses! Now, I would dearly love to have a robe exactly like this one that was big enough to fit ME! I would happily wrap myself in it every morning:
A sweet little handmade dress in green:
And another cutie in blue. These were part of a small collection I bought years ago from a friend at work:
And I found this lovely Madame Alexander Swiss doll dress at a thrift shop for $1.00. I only have four Madame Alexander dolls, but it's nice to have a change of clothes for the little ones!
I'm still a little girl at heart, who loves playing with her dolls and doll clothes.
what great clothes!!!!!!! my gram used to make pjs and dresses for all my dolls and i loved it. lucky girl and luckier dolls!
ReplyDeleteThere is just something so charming about doll clothes! I am always drawn to them at flea markets, but don't usually buy them because I don't have a doll they would fit. I'm beginning to think that they have a charm all their own even without a doll in them. Hmmm . . . maybe I should start a collection. Twyla
ReplyDeleteThese would be so awesome framed in a shadow box and hung in a sewing nook. They are just charming. The pink robe is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteCompletely adorable. I like how you have displayed them on the old calico fabrics. Love T
