I have shown you numerous examples over the last two years of what I like to do with my antique postcards. Framing them is still a favorite. Here is one of my most recent examples. This lovely birthday card in a frame with aqua rhinestones, and a matching brooch make a lovely pair, don't you think?
And I have also been making greeting cards with some of them to sell in our booth:

And I always display them with my holiday decor. But I also love to just plain admire them any old time.
I think they're all beautiful.
i love to frame my favorite holiday cards from the ones i receive each year-i have also framed many vintage yosemite post cards. your frames beat mine out by a long shot though heidi. hope your booth is doing well.
ReplyDeleteI love those vintage postcards! Where is your booth? My parents live in Sonora. Is your booth anywhere near there?
ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to see the cards Heidi made first hand, and they are really very nice. You are very talented, sis. Love T
ReplyDeleteHi Jill! Yes - we are at Mountain Treasures in Sonora.
ReplyDeleteOld postcards are one of my favorite things. So far I keep them in a big photo album where I can view both sides because there is so much charm in the writings. Twyla
