Today I am showing you some of my collection of Disney musical globes. Most of them were gifts from my husband.
Snow White and Sleeping Beauty:
Cinderella and Lady And The Tramp:
Mulan and Pocahontas:
Cinderella and The Lion King:
Beauty And The Beast and Mickey, Minnie and the gang "Under The Sea":
The Aristocats and Tinker Bell:
Sometimes, he would order them from The Disney Catalog, and other times he drove all the way to the nearest mall with a Disney Store, which is over an hour each way. He HATES shopping, and he hates malls. He would go in, go straight to the Disney Store, pick one, buy it, and leave.
Thanks , sweetie!
Love them!!! Disneyland here we come!!!! Can't wait!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou do a wonderful post on snow globes (love the Tinkerbell one!) and I see Lady and the Tramp and all I can think is 'boy, spaghetti would taste really good right now!'. How is it you can do a blog that has nothing to do about food and you STILL make me hungry? Thank you to DH for the lovely presents he gives you. So thoughtful. Love T
ReplyDeleteI collect Disney snowglobes too!
ReplyDeleteI have none of the ones you have... and I so envy you for that Lady and the Tramp globe.
Great post... I think I'll go dust off my globes. :O)
what a great collection - you are sweet so i would expect as much from your hubby!!! plus he probably loves that you are easy to buy for - that in itself is worth its weight in gold. and you are appreciative - all that adds up to someone who will continually receive gifts!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have many of these same globes. Most are first editions and were in limited quantity. They are indeed valuable - but does anyone know how I can find what they're worth? There are so many site regarding the vintage Disney collectables, but nothing on the globes.
