Christmas through the years with great December covers from Family Circle magazine. Theirs is another publication that I have subscribed to for many, many years. I like it well enough that I have never stopped my subscription - and it also helps that it is less expensive than many of the others I like. Are these vintage covers precious, or what? 1949:
1950:
1952:
And here we have 1956- with cover art by one of my favorites (yes, I'm aware you knew that already!) Walt Disney "And Staff". Tina gave me this one - she knew I'd be delighted!
And what have we here? Another favorite artist's cover - from the great Norman Rockwell(1967):
And the most recent one:
They still put out a nice magazine with a pretty cover - and I'm still reading them.
I love the cover with the little girl and the baby doll under the tree. Conveys the joy of Christmas so well. Great post. Love T

GREAT vintage Christmas covers! Thanks for sharing them with us, Heidi!
ReplyDeleteThe latest cover, when compared, just doesn't hold a candle to the older ones. Yet again proving, "They just don't make 'em like they used to..." :(
Now I need to go get a Family Circle.I Haven't read one in years.
