Apron Pattern Love

I have found a number of great apron patterns over the last couple of years at yard sales and thrift stores. Just thought I would share them with you today. Wouldn't this one be cute for Valentine's Day?
Three styles - all sweet:
This one looks like a very practical style:
Here's another great pick, perfect to wear while cooking up a Valentine's feast:
Practical again - and pretty! Yes, please! Dress them up in a myriad of ways - rick rack, pom pom fringe - so cute!

I like them all. I really think I need to (re)learn how to sew!

  1. These are all great patterns. I could do a whole post on apron patterns too and not duplicate the ones you showed! There is just something about aprons that I love. So many styles, so many fabrics, so many trims, so useful. Great idea, great post. Get to (re)sewing. Love T

  2. I love those patterns!! I just looked at them and thought of all the fabrics to use and how fun it would be to sew a few of them up...I really live in the past in my head sometimes.

  4. I wonder if you have to have a 19" waist to wear them? I like the smock apron with the skinny pants. It's so Laura Petrie.

  5. i agree with the laura petrie comment. my gram and grandma both were huge home cooks so wore aprons every day - almost all day. i love all the old patterns. gram was also a huge home sewer. most of my clothes in kindagarten were made by her. oops forgot to sign in.....yosemite faith
