Vintage Sears, Roebuck and Co. Catalog

I purchased this catalog on ebay. I believe it is from 1923. A little worse for wear it has very few color pages. I am showing some of them here.

Shoes for the well dressed woman.

Beautiful hats!

Fancy wool hosiery.

Various fabrics to purchase.

Beautiful dresses for girls.

For boys, sweaters, hats, etc.

Children's knit outfits.

A page of Christmas stuff.

Blankets and comforters.

Several pages of children's toys.

Furniture- They call the white one a Kitchen Cabinet and it would set you back $48.85. Wish I had me one of those!! Tina has a similar one, lucky girl!!

The catalog has over 1000 pages and is very interesting to look through. It was a good find!!

  3. love sears catalogs. thats where i learned my colors - from looking at the pages of fabrics. my grandparents used the old ones in the outhouse! i spent my days at gram and gramps scanning and rescanning all the pages. i had a girlfriend in stockton that lived in a sears house - so cool.

I would hang the page with the ladies hats in a frame on my bedroom wall. So pretty.

  6. what a lovely find. I am really hoping to find a Sears catalog from the early 70's. In all my thrifting I've yet to come across one. It is so fun to look at prices and styles of the past.

  8. Hi - I know this post is over a year old, but I found your blog while searching for information about a Sears hoosier cabinet just like the one in your picture...I was wondering if you still had that catalog you took the pictures from, and what information you could provide me on the cabinet. I'd like to restore it to it's original state.
You can find me over at my blog if you wish to answer. Thanks for your time.
