How many trees does it take to make a forest??
I don't know, but I think I'm getting close. I love these vintage (6o's, 70's?) metal mug trees, and I keep finding them and I cannot resist them. They are useful and practical (and cheap), and I have an inexplicable attraction to them!
You can use them for more than mugs, you know. I could hang some of my restaurant china creamers on them. You could use them to hold ornaments at Christmas. I am using a couple of them to hold jewelry. Below, you see my only orange one:
And my only white one:
Guess what?? After I took all of those photos, I found two more!
And there is a blue one for sale in the shop with a pretty set of mugs.
And I will buy more if - or make that WHEN - I find them.
Yes, I will.
If a mug tree falls in the forest... Wow, even I, collector of many things that I am, am impressed by this collection. Love T
ReplyDeleteI have one lonely sad black one sitting on a shelf on the back porch. Don't think I appreciated it until I saw your collection. =)
ReplyDeleteI have a green one holding my morning coffee mugs as well.
ReplyDeletegreat bargains! i don't have any but due to lack of counter space it has kept me from ever being tempted.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that I don't have one of those! And I don't think I ever see them at sales, because I'm sure I would have grabbed it. I love seeing unique collections like this!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea..I'm going to start looking for them for my costume jewelry...cute blog..
ReplyDeleteI loe what you've done with the mug trees. I never know what to use those for so I pass them up. Not any more. I hope I see one soon. Thanks
