It seems I had rather a sunny, 70's retro theme going when I found these most recent thrift shop treasures. Little white vases (much like a taller one I have had since I was in my teens) vintage straw flowers, cheery mugs, and a saucer:
A pretty pottery hen:
Marvelous mushroom mugs!
A Vera linen dish towel, amber glass canister jar, another Campbell's cookbook and one from Knott's Berry Farm, and an handkerchief with autumn leaves. The tapestry handbag was my mother-in-laws (I found it in storage - it had fallen behind some other stuff), and the beads belonged to Mother:
My favorite thing may well be this totally cool yellow and orange lacquer ware mirror. It sits on a separate little stand so that you can position it where ever you like.
Like Lori said, it looks straight out of a 1970's bedroom photo shoot from Seventeen magazine!
I don't think I can part with it.
I want to sit at your mirror with a cup of Red Zinger tea in a mushroom mug and fix my makeup (if I wore any). Also love Mother's wooden beads. Thanks for fixing non to none. I tried several times and couldn't get in. Love T
