"Food should be prepared with butter and love."
That's Paula Deen's motto, isn't it? If it's not, perhaps it should be.
Yes, indeed, it IS true that love and a little (or a lot of) butter can make some pretty tasty dishes.
Everything in moderation, that's what they say, after all.
Oh I love it! Paula would too. Maybe she would pay big bucks for it? Fantastic find!
ReplyDeleteLove this!!!! Want!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute and so true! Except why does she have a scarlet letter on her chest? Must be the other woman preparing for her man's visit. Love T

ReplyDeleteTina is right! Why does she have a scarlet letter? hmmm...
ReplyDeleteWow, what memories this brings back! This very plaque hung on our kitchen wall in the mid 70's. The artist, "Berggren", specialized in Swedish-themed pieces like this.
ReplyDeleteThe pitcher seen on the stove-top was available in a full-sized poreclain version, along with all manner of plates and ceramic ware in the same style.
Dave - oh, what a neat memory! Thank you for sharing that with us. I need to go back in and edit my post to add the artist's name; I should have done that to start with - thanks for reminding me!
ReplyDelete(Haha! Good one Tina Dawn!). Love your plaque Heidi Ann, it's adorable. Moderation? What's that? ;- )
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness-- that is sooo cute! My first thought was "That's so Paula Dean!".
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jill
