The other day, I held a rainbow in the palm of my hand......
....but only for a fleeting moment.
It brought to mind a favorite poem:
Bubbles, by Carl Sandburg
Two bubbles found they had rainbows on their curves.
They flickered out saying:
It was worth being a bubble, just to have held that rainbow thirty seconds."
Do you remember my post long ago about blowing bubbles? I shared this same poem! I discovered it when I used to get the Scholastic books in grade school and I had one either on poetry or just on Sandburg, I can't remember. I just love your rainbow in your hand photo. It is much better than the time on my hands picture I had in here a few weeks ago! LOL
