Then And Now #87 Orange Crush

Just a little look at Orange Crush through the years today. I'm afraid I don't know which years most of these are from - but you can get a general idea of some of the changes the bottle has undergone, at least.

From the clear and "Krinkly" bottles, above, to the brown (yet still Krinkly?) bottle below:

I'm assuming this next ad and the sign below it are from the 50's:

Another simple and bright sign below:

And here's the way the bottles looked in 1973:

And the way it looks "Now":

But, of course, now you can also get the Diet version. (Add a 1/2 cup portion of Dreyer's Slow Churned Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, and you could make yourself a Creamsicle-stlye float for only 3 Weight Watchers Points Plus.)

Sounds kind of cool and refreshing for a warm day, don't you think?

  1. I love Orange Crush! When I was a little girl we weren't allowed to drink soft drinks except when we were on driving trips. When I drink it now it takes me right back to the 1960s. You can still buy it in glass bottles at my Safeway.
