I am reading this book:
"A Wrinkle In Time", written by Madeline L'Engle back in 1962.
"It was a dark and stormy night....."
I love that.
I know that I must have read it years and years ago, but it's been so long that I didn't even remember the story at all.
It's one of Tina's all-time favorite childhood books, if I recall correctly.
I just happened to have a copy of it in my collection, on my bookshelf ( of course I did!).
There is actually a very special reason why I am re-reading this particular novel at this particular time.
But I'm not going to tell you yet what that reason is.
It must remain a mystery...
for now.

Ah, a mystery. October is a great month for a mystery... Yes, one of my favorite books. I always went for the mysterious stories. Still love to read the 'tween books now. Love T
Remember Snoopy sitting at his typewriter always started out with "it was a dark and stormy night"

Oh, please tell us the secret when you finish the book. I'm dying to know what it is.
Oh, oh, oh! That was my favorite book when I read it as a kid! I've thought many times of reading it again. I think that's the same cover on the one I had. Twyla
Love, love, love that book! My teacher read it to our class in 4th grade and I red it over and over. They are making a movie out of it.......hope that isn't the secret!
