Beneath it is an orange rug that I found, as well:
A small, original framed painting:
And I found this "Autumn Leaves" sheet music, appropriately enough. I think I may have a copy of the song, but not with Roger Williams on the front, I don't think?
It was only a dime, so it didn't really matter to me if I already had it:
Another small original painting. This one was not framed - but it is now:
I found three of these Hazel Atlas Clover black depression glass plates.
I was pretty tickled when I found these!
I keep finding more of these souvenir plates.
Marine World, Africa U.S.A., complete with tiger:
And Montana, Land Of Shining Mountains:
And I found a cute little handmade patchwork calico pillow, too:
I absolutely love your enameled geese and the calico pillow! Great finds. Love T
ReplyDeleteFun stuff. Like that MT plate!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have previously seen the clover plates. Very interesting.

I don't think I've ever seen black depression plates. I would love to go to your thrift stores!!
ReplyDeleteSheryl and Annette: I knew Fostoria made some gorgeous black glass dishes in the 1930's, but I had not seen these before, either. I recognized the clover pattern as being an old one, because I have a few small clover plates in the lovely green color depression glass. When I came home, I found these in my Depression Glass ware book and it made me very happy. Especially having found them (cheap) at a thrift store!
