We Three Kings Of Orient Are......
....proudly gracing Heidi's shelf this Christmas season.
She found us earlier this year at Mountain Treasures in Sonora.
We look pretty spectacular as a trio, and pretty great individually, as well:
Made in the 1960's in Japan, for Dickson, they are meant to hold pillar candles:
I have very rarely seen these, perhaps only once or twice before on eBay:
I was delighted to find them and add them to my collection!
Three more kings are seen below, as depicted in felt on a little vintage burlap stocking, found at a thrift store:
And last of all, we have an illustration by F.D. Lohman, from a vintage book of Christmas Carols:
And the music, for your holiday enjoyment:
Sing a few bars with me, won't you.....?
I was already singing before you asked. I love your new kings, they are so cute! Love T

ReplyDeleteI love them!!!! What a great find!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy mother made a burlap hanging with the 3 Wise Men on it when I was a kid. We never could find it after she died, which really bums me out.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful treasures!!!
