Paint By Number

I do not have many...

Nay - only a few....

Yet, how I admire them...

Truly, I do!

  1. I've recently been on the lookout for paint by numbers paintings... I was fortunate enough to find one of a German Shepherd dog while thrifting in Memphis. How do you display yours? I'm thinking of pairing mine with a 1960s painted portrait of a little girl. :)

  2. Well - one of the swan ones hangs above the bathtub in our vintage bathroom full of swans, the deer one is near my curio cabinet full of deer, two other swans are in the living room, one is propped in front of ugly books on a shelf to cover them up! If I had the right space, I'd love to have them all together. I wish I could find more, too!

  4. My son gave me a lovely large paint by numbers of flamingos quite a while ago, I don't have it out at this time. I used to paint them, I think I had a pair of ballerinas I painted and a pair of kittens. I don't have those any more. I love these examples that you have Heidi, the colors are so lovely. Love T

  5. I love paint by numbers! I always sell them when I find them though, they can bring really good money - the last one I sold was a 12"x6" one with no frame featuring two white tail deer - it sold for like $55! Yowza!

  6. I, too, am searching for some paint by number pictures. These would have been from the late 60's and early 70's? They are a set of four girls - (all four are 20x26, I think) each one is wearing a bonnet - a blonde, a brunette, etc.. Does anyone know the name of them? I would like to find these and paint them myself. Thank you for any help you can give me.

  7. I'm sorry, I don't really know a lot about them. but if i ever come across any information that might be of help to you, or if I see any that appear to be what you describe, I will try to let you know. Thank you for commenting on my blog.
