Wishing You A Very Happy Fourth

Just a little wish from me, along with a delightful illustration by Joan Walsh Anglund, to say that I hope you enjoy a glorious Fourth!

We are headed to Sunol for the day, to attend another picnic and ride on the Niles Canyon Railway , courtesy of the Pacific Locomotive Association, of which my husband is a member.


And this evening, as always, I will watch my beloved Boston Pops and march around as I turn up the volume when they play my favorite John Philip Sousa tune "Stars and Stripes Forever"!

    Smart move... heading for the Bay Area. My son says it's "hot" in Oakland. That means it's about 85 degrees.
