I found the cutest string holder: A nice pair of glass tumblers - Dansk, maybe? More gingham! A pretty embroidered tablecloth: Cherries are always nice: 1970's mugs: And a very nice vintage knitting or sewing bag/stand.... ......or whatever you call it.
cherry's are always a favorite in michigan - the yarn holder was a nice size - since if you truly are working on a project you need something that can handle all your stuff and most things are really true small to be used for that purpose.
