Dreaming Again In Maidenform, and You Never Know Where She'll Turn Up

I wrote a post back in July of 2010 about these vintage Maidenform advertisements (click here to go back and read it), but I found a few more so today we are revisiting this ad campaign.
We'll start with this gal from 1966, dreaming she "turned on the magic of Venice":
"I dreamed I had the world on a string", from Seventeen Magazine, 1967:
And this one from 1971 - "You'll Dream You're Watched Every Minute" - I think this is model Maud Adams(?):
Susie Blakely from 1970 - "You'll dream you're not even wearing your Un-underwear"......
This gal dreamed she "swung to a new beat" in her Maidenform confections:
And by the later 1970's, they had changed their tag line:
The Maidenform Woman.
"You Never Know Where She'll Turn Up".
Like, you know, maybe she'll be just casually hanging out next to the hot dog stand in her Maidenform underwear.
(But I don't think so.)

  1. She might turn up at Wallmart... there seem to be people who want to show off their underwear there according to facebook. Great post. Love T

  3. Oh I don't know - compared to Rhianna, Beyonce, J. Lo. and the Karsmashians, she seems positively overdressed!

  4. @GSGreatEscaper: The Maidenform Woman was ahead of her time.
