This first set is a really pretty one with red and white bows and blue polka dots. The funny thing about these is that I found five of them years ago - SOMEWHERE - and later, I found a rack for them - and then MANY years later, I happened to find one more- to complete the set of six! Don't you just love it when that happens??
This set of eight, shown four at a time in the next two photos, were here in the house:
The Carousel set, they were made by Libbey Glass:
Nice tall frosted tumblers for a delightfully cool glass of iced tea! Just right.
I have always LOVED the carousel glasses, you are so lucky to have had them in your house. My favorites now are my "California Gold Rush" glasses, which you have helped me with collecting. They are frosted like the carousel set. Great post as usual. Love T

ReplyDeleteOMG, Heidi! I am sooo envious of your set of carousel glasses!
ReplyDelete(I know, I'm really "gaying it up", but some things do this to me...)
What do you mean, they were there in the house? Are you saying that you just found them there when you moved in? If so, that's nothing but CRAZY luck!
I have such a weakness for glasses! I used to have some of the carousel glasses and they broke:( I love the other set in the holder. Twyla
ReplyDeleteThe carousel glasses ring some distant bell with me...we must've had them, or a friend did or something. They're great!
ReplyDeleteL O V E those carousel glasses! My grandma & grandpa had some like that. Wonder where they are now...??
