Here are just a few recent finds - below, I found the little ceramic baskets, the metal holder, Easter grass, eggs at thrift shops. but not the jelly beans! A traditional Easter (or any time!) treat, from left to right, we have Jelly Belly Sours, SweeTarts Jelly Beans, and Starburst Jelly Beans. All good:
I also found a pretty vintage plate, and two sweet little hand-painted egg cups from Dept. 56:
A pillow case with a pattern too pretty to pass up, another nice restaurant china platter, two more vintage mugs, and a little ceramic stand that I think probably once held a little cruet set. It was sitting there all forlorn, looking like nobody wanted to buy it:
But I had an idea as to what I would use it for - I also found the little Hallmark egg in the front here:
I discovered another little crocheted potholder for my collection:
A pretty set of floral pedestal bowls - turn them over and they can double as egg cups!
And then, some more Easter treats - Chocolate Butter Eggs from See's Candies:
And these little Cadbury Caramel Eggs, below. I don't think I've ever tried them before, but I couldn't resist their cute packaging:
Love your rainbow cottage plate! So cute. All great finds, and I think SweeTart jelly beans and Caramel eggs sound really yummy. Love T
ReplyDeleteOh Heidi Ann, you've just got THE best eye for finding stuff I might not ever pick up & you've got the tremendous talent of knowing how to put it all together to look adorable! I'm so envious! Love it all. The pic of the little See's butter cream eggs are my FAVORITES & reminded me how good I've been NOT stealing them out of the kids Easter Baskets this week.....until last night. I caved. My grandson has TWO less. But we won't tell him, right?! And you know, eating them in the dark with only the glow of the TV screen felt real stealthy until I saw four doggie eyes staring at me. Haha! Can't get away with nuthin! Happy Easter to my favorite sisters!

ReplyDeleteSee's Chocolate Butter Eggs. OH, YES. Now that's what Easter is all about.
ReplyDeleteI love all the little Eastery things that you found. I really like the egg cups with the blue design.
Very nice.
Happy Easter to you and yours.
I saw something in the store recently, a table helper--turn it one way it's a cake plate, the other and it's a deviled egg holder.
