More Vintage Bark Cloth

Today, I'm just sharing a few more pretty samples of bark cloth that I have collected. The first one, below is the pattern on a pair of gorgeous vintage ruffled pillow shams I found on eBay quite a while ago. I got a really good deal on these!
And I like the oak and pine details of this pattern:
This floral fabric was made into a pair of curtains (by my sister) for my bedroom years ago in a previous residence:
And this is just another pretty floral I found:
My favorite bark cloth patterns are the tropical florals with green and pink, but I also liked all of these patterns. You may have noticed from reading my blog that I like LOTS of different types of things!!

  1. Heidi Ann,
I try to visit your blog every day, because practically every other day you introduce me to vintage items I never knew existed. I then have the pleasure of researching those subjects on my computer. Thank you for opening up my vintage horizons!

  4. I had never heard of bark cloth until a couple months ago and I still haven't seen it in person. At least I don't *think* i have!

    have a great day, Heidi!

  5. Isn't barkcloth absolutely delicious? I cannot see it without thinking of front porch swings with big ol' pillows, lemonade and cookies!

  6. I'm with you, give me the tropical bartcloth patterns first, but I enjoy them all. The spacy fifties patterns are all great too, I wish they fit into my decor but they don't. If I ever by the "superman" house in Placerville maybe they would! I have always enjoyed looking at your various patterns when I am over. Love T

  8. I just found an interesting bark cloth today. The background is green and it has pink in it with gold and black. Very interesting pattern. How do you identify your bark cloth?
