Nettie

Our maternal grandmother, Nettie, was born on this date in 1905. This is one of my favorite pictures of her:
And here she is with Grandpa - they look so sweet together (and thank you, Sis for this framed copy of the photo!):
This one, of her and Mother, is as cute as can be!
And she is pictured here on Mother's Day in 1996:

I'm sorry to say that she passed away in December of 1999.
Happy Birthday, Grandma - we will always love and remember you!

    Yes, indeed, she shares her birthday with Barbie! I kind of did want to post about Barbie too, but I didn't have any good pictures anyway - and it just needed to be about Nettie today.

    Wonderful pictures, Heidi. I'm sure she was a great lady. My own grandmother, Sarah, was also born in 1905 and passed away in 1999, so this is very moving for me!
