Remembering John Lennon

Remembering John Lennon today on the occasion of what would have been his 70th birthday, with these first two photos from Life Magazine, 1967 (loaned to me by my friend Heidi - thanks Heidi!):

And this image from the Magical Mystery Tour album:
I'll honor his memory today by listening to his music.
We'll always remember you, John.

  1. We've been thinking a lot about John today. Think of all he could have done had he lived to this birthday.

  3. I have been listening to John too. You picked some great photos there. I just watched a show last Sunday about John and his sons. Julian recently had a photography exhibit and Yoko, Sean and Julian's mother (the one John left for Yoko)were all there at the same time for the first time. It was a beautiful thing to watch, I bet John is happy about it. Imagine...
    Great Post Heidi.

  5. This would have been his 70th Birthday this year. Imagine!

"You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one."

Think of all the wonderful songs he would have written if he had lived.
