In my post a while back Coca-Cola...And Flowers, I showed you the advertisement from 1940 I had found in one of my magazines which advertised the first booklet in the series - and I told you I would be on the hunt for one. Guess what? You already know - I found one! I had looked on eBay, but I was hoping I could find one for less money. This was 25 cents at a thrift store in Angel's Camp! It doesn't get too much cheaper than that. Whoohoo!
Next up - I look for these votive holders all the time. In my experience, it has been difficult to find them in pairs, at least in the case of the pretty colored glass ones, frosted or otherwise. I found the first aqua one over a year ago - and found the mate just recently. YAY!
And I had shown you this cookie cutter on the right , below, when I found it at a thrift store. And then just recently, I found his mate!
For 15 cents - now, that's the kind of find I like.
Little cuties.
Great 'mate' finds!! Keep up the good work!!!
ReplyDeleteLove those cookie cutters. They are really cute. Hope you're going to make some cookies with them.
ReplyDeleteI think I know where you were in Angels Camp. There are two really great antique stores there that boggle my mind.... and the thrift shop at the end of the street. Love 'em.
Great finds. Keep thrifting.
