So you can imagine my surprise, then, when I spotted this one recently:
The cover is pretty thrashed, but the inside of the magazine is in great shape.
And, of course, it is filled with tons of the ads and articles I love - for clothing......
And purses.......
And shoes.......
(That's Betsy Cameron being lifted off of her two feet by those handsome young men, by the way.)
Not to mention a myriad of other products.
And this magazine only cost me a dime.
Sweet!
I remember this issue. Not sure if I still have it but I LOVE the Charlie's Girls brightly colored outfits!
ReplyDeleteIn August 1971 I became a "post" teen so I guess I wasn't reading it anymore. AND I had a tiny new baby. I think I moved on to Family Circle. LOL. Looks like a great issue, can't wait to see more. Love T
ReplyDeleteLooks very fun. That last ad is a real hoot!
ReplyDeleteHow great! I wish I would find a Seventeen from the 70''s/80's or a'Teen from the 80's. But all I find are Saturday Evening Posts and Look from the 60's. And not for a dime!
ReplyDeleteAnother great one!! Lucky find!!
ReplyDeleteI found a 60's TEEN the other week, but I don't think it's as exciting as a 70's Seventeen!!!
