Lunch With Jamie

My friend Jamie (from Mid Century Madness) came over for lunch a couple of weeks ago. We had nice enough weather to sit outside:
I fixed salads for us, and we had grapes and crackers with Laughing Cow cheese:
It was a nice autumn lunch - but as always, the best part was spending time with a great friend, which is something I don't get to do nearly as often as I'd like!
Just in case you are interested, the salad consisted of:
Spinach
Golden raspberries (from the farmer's market)
Montchevre Goat Cheese
Grilled chicken strips
Sliced Almonds
And then, just add your dressing of choice (I kind of like Girard's Light Champagne Dressing, myself.)

Lunch with a good friend. We could have soda crackers and water and it would be wonderful! But it looks like you had something yummy!

Let me just say...It was very yummy! You make the BEST salads. I always try to duplicate them at home, and it never comes out as good....so I'd have to agree with Lori, It's always better with friends! Thanks my friend.
