It's National Wear Red Day again.
You're most likely not going to a prom, like the young lady below:
But you may be going out to lunch with friends, perhaps?
Whatever you're doing, consider wearing red today and also donating to the American Heart Association's campaign to raise money for women's heart disease research, if you possibly can.
You may remember that Tina had aortic valve replacement surgery in November of 2009. Our Daddy also died as a result of heart disease.
We here at Gold Country Girls are wishing you all the best on this Go Red For Women Day - and here's hoping you take care of your heart.

I'll do it! Sorry about your family. I love red, anyway!
Thanks to all the women who wear red today. I am going to Weight Watchers and I bet there will be a lot of them wearing red there today. Love T
Those girls at the table don't seem to be worried about their heart health (or weight)...burgers, fries, Coca-Cola.
go to their facebook page and you can sign up to get a little red dress pin. at least you could a couple of weeks ago. my mom died from heart disease and john has suffered a heart attack about 1 1/2 yrs ago. 2 stints (or is it stents?) later he seems to be doing ok. hope tina is doing well also!
