Ann Thompson's Avon Lady

I love this whimsical illustration (by artist Ann Thompson) of an Avon lady skiing downhill to make her deliveries, which graced the cover of The Saturday Evening Post some thirty years ago:
She reminds me of Mary Poppins.
And speaking of Mary Poppins, I am going to see "Saving Mr. Banks" tomorrow with a friend I used to work with, and I am really looking forward to it!
It's been quite awhile since I went to see a movie - way too long.

Oh, I wish I was going with you to see the movie! I want to see it. I love the Avon Lady from 1984. I had a wonderful Avon Lady for years when I worked in downtown Placerville. Everyone loved her. I couldn't survive back then without my Skin So Soft! Love T
