More Vintage Art Deco Cards

I showed you some of these vintage cards in an earlier post. More today, just because I love the look of them SO much:
Aren't they gorgeous? So colorful:
And these three are bridge tally cards.
Simple, useful things were made with so much thought and such lovely artwork back then!

Hi Heidi!
I love them! Wow,I can't decide whick one is my favorite. I guess it would have to be the one with the balloons. So precious. Where did you find such lovliness?

Bridge tally cards...I didn't even know about those. They sure are pretty. You are so right about the artwork. I appreciate the work that went in to creating something so beautiful.

Ohhh Heidi Ann... These are just Awesome! I totally agree with all you've said... My Parents were big Bridge players... I wish, now, that I had her large collection of tally cards... My favorite of the ones you've shown today is the woman in the big, full Pink dress with the green parasol... simply beautiful...

I think I like the second batch, top right card the best, but they are all really great. Lovely colors. Useful indeed! Those ladies needed their bridge games to keep them on track after all the slaving they did over their vintage stoves, and after they mopped the floor in their heels. Love T

johns folks (and john) taught me how to play bridge. they always had tallys and other necessary bridge items. i love the art deco - my favorite is the one with the red panels in the background. like deanna i also like the balloons (reminds me of my love for bubbles).
