Well, I've tried not to buy very much candy this year for Valentine's Day - even though they all look so tempting to me. Not having it around makes it easier for me to stay on my weight-loss program! HOWEVER - I had some "fixins" left over that I didn't use at Christmas, and I decided to make something with them:
So I ended up with heart-shaped White Chocolate Peppermint Fudge. Oh, it's good! And now I think I need to get it out of the house!
And here is the only bag of candy I did buy - have you tried these yet? I was surprised that I liked them so much. Because I don't usually like raspberry with chocolate stuff. I like orange with chocolate, mint with chocolate, even lemon with chocolate if it's a See's Truffle! But the See's raspberry ones are always my VERY last choice in the candy box. These Hugs, though are really good:
And since I'm on the subject of Hersheys - how gorgeous is this fabulous cake decorated with Kisses from one of their cookbooks?
Um, no - I won't be making one of those. Like I said, I'm really trying.....

Everything looks and sounds yummy! I wish I had some Sees candy, but I don't think I'll get any. I did have some at Christmas, and it was wonderful. Love, Deb
well i did get some sees mailed to me - i try to keep my remaining aunts and uncle spoiled with it on all holidays. but other than that i can't have it in my house. soooo i hadn't seen that new kind of hershys that you showed heidi. i just don't have it in the house. i usually don't like peppermint but you sure made that fudge sound good!

Those hugs look good, I guess, I am exactly like you about raspberry stuff. Give me the real berry off the vine any day. Your fudge looks absolutely marvelous. I love mint flavor! Good luck with getting it out of the house, my way is usually eating it all, then it is gone and not a problem. LOL. Love T
