The Album Cover Art Of Sound Tracks - A Gift From My Friend Heidi

I love this book SO much! My dear friend Heidi gave it to me for my birthday last year, and I don't know why it took me so long to get around to writing about it. It is completely full of color pictures of album covers.
Naturally, I had to pick out the two that have Volkswagens on them to show you!
Psychedelic, man!

A Suzanne Pleshette movie:

Every page is either one full sized cover, or smaller pictures of four covers. By the way, did you happen to see the PBS show "Pioneers of Television" recently about Crime Dramas? Crime dramas are my THING, man - I watched and loved nearly every single one they mentioned on that great program.
Yes, including "The Girl From U.N.C.L.E.", shown on the page pictured below:

I just finished kind of a big job a bit ago that required moving some furniture including a chock-full curio cabinet with six shelves inside. Precisely the type of job I hate, it involved taking out and cleaning every single thing inside, including the shelves. Oh, well - it all needed dusting anyway. Getting it all done was a great relief, and it allowed me to then put my music cabinet (purchased at Mountain Treasures) into the spot it was intended for, and then this black cubbyhole cabinet, also purchased locally at a thrift store, on top of THAT. Into that went a LOT of my CD's. I am digging having them all here in an easy-to-get-to location.
The music cabinet, which you do not see beneath it, holds LP's, sheet music, and a few books - including this book I am sharing with you today.
Do you see my Henry Mancini LP "Mr. Lucky Goes Latin", standing up there next to my Very Cool Cat?

I was delighted to find "Mr.Lucky" with the same long, tall cat on the cover (artwork by Don Peters ) inside my book!
Cool, huh?
Thank you, Heidi - you really DO know exactly what I like!

That looks amazing! I have to come see it in person. I love the book you got from Heidi too and someday I'm going to find a copy for myself. And there is my favorite hip cat of all time sitting there looking so groovy. I love it when you show pictures of your beautiful home...more please!
