Just a Few Things I Have Made In The Past

Sis Lori here with a few of my crafty creations:
First up: I am a rubber stamp addict and scrapbooker, mostly using products from the Close To My Heart Company. Here is a picture of my handmade cards on display at a Vendor Fair I attended last November:

I used to make earrings out of postage stamps, here are a few examples:

I also made some stamp bookmarks and of course, Elvis earrings, too!

This is a tissue holder I made for Mother, and then inherited after she died. I believe I also made one for each of my sisters that year:

Another view from the side:

I made an handmade bath apron for my daughter's best friend's baby shower gift - it was made from a towel:

Maybe you remember my silhouette pendants?

That all for now. I really enjoy crafting, just wish I had more time to do it!

I love your use of shutters to display your lovely cards, very crafty! I have your earrings and somewhere a bookmark too, the cute tissue holder, and a sillouette necklace, which I treasure. I like the sideways one with the flute, though. My granddaughters love theirs! I never saw the bath apron, very clever! I love having such a talented crafty sister! Love T

I'm new to your site but it looks like it will be a keeper! I love the tissue holder -- I made my mom one many many years ago -- it was pink and white with their address embroidered on the front and embroidered flowers in the window. She's 94 now and still has it sitting in her bathroom. I don't believe she has ever used one of the "smoke" tissues -- they must be close to 45 years old now!!!

I just tripped over your blog and I LOVE it - you like all the same things I do, especially thrift shops and vintage kitchen stuff. I was actually searching vintage Jergens Lotion bottles on Google and it brought me to your blog. :) I too, love the smell. Another smell I remember from back then is Cashmere Bouquet talcum powder.

I will definitely be back - keep up the good work!
