Vintage Home Arts Needlecraft Magazine 1939

I found this great magazine, below, at a thrift shop recently.

Patterns of fashions from back in the day:

They call these eight o'clock frocks for the bulwarks of society who get their husbands off well-fed in the morning:

And this was considered to be what one should wear to the Fair, as there were two important ones in New York and San Francisco that year:

And the next ones were recommended for the dance floor, graduation dress, party frock, or at a dinner table.

I like them all, let's go back to that era!!!!

Yes, let's go back, my waist could use some whittlin'. Also I definitely need to be a little more dressed up at 5 am when hubby is getting ready for work, or at least out of bed. LOL. Love that cover. Love T
