"Oh, dear!", June will be over in one week, and I almost forgot about Mr. Jolly!
Here he is, at his Sidewalk Market in June:
(With my apologies to Mr. Jolly for being so late, but school has been out for a while....)
Meanwhile, the ice cream man's cart is in full swing:
"10 cents for ice cream!"?
I'll take some, please!
We've been talking about this here lately, so my question for you, dear readers, is this:
Do YOU eat more ice cream in the summertime?
(Pages are taken from "Mr. Jolly's Sidewalk Market", a book written and illustrated by Laura Jean Allen.)

Well, Heidi Ann and Mr. Jolly, we would seem to be eating more ice cream around here right now, but it isn't because of summer, it is because my hubby has a sore throat and also needs to gain weight, and it is great for both those things! (I get some too although I have neither problem. LOL) Love T
I hate to say it but I'm not a huge fan of ice cream, especially during the winter time when it is so cold here, so I usually only eat it during the summer time. I prefer heavenly hash ice cream with actual marshmallows in it, not the cream. and it is hard to find. I love seeing your Mr. Jolly posts and was waiting for June because it is my birthday month. I hope you have a good summer!
Here in New England, schools are just getting out - some are going as late as June 30 because of all the days off necessitated by the blizzards this winter!
