This was our table a few years ago. I haven't taken pictures yet of this year's decorations. The turkey platter shown here is one that has been in the family. Hand-painted in Italy, and a lovely addition to the table.
P.S. Dizzy kitty is back home. He's mad because we won't let him out, but apparently a cat fight got him into this mess. He has a 2 inch long stitched-up gash on his scalp where the abcess was. We're lucky it wasn't worse. Don't really want to take any chances.

I wish my table looked this pretty! Heidi, I need you!
Karen Jo- Hmmmm, I can't think of anything I'd like much better than helping other people arrange / and/or display their table settings and collectibles! Now, If I could figure out how to make a business out of that and maybe gift-wrapping, I'd be one happy girl! Thank you for the compliment!
Ah, you are giving me an example to try to live up to. Instead of just obsessing on the food I am putting on my table this Thursday, I now realize it is time to start planning the decorations I will be placing on the table also. I can't wait to see how you set your table this year.
