I collect deer. I've shown part of my collection before on this blog. But I also have lamps - TV lamps and table lamps. I just love them - in either pottery or ceramic. And my collection includes these bookend pairs, as well. This black pair is my latest acquisition:
And there's this pair:
These first three sets are from the same mold, I guess - but you can see their colors differ, and I imagine the details were hand-painted by different artists. Their eyes are all unique. The two "brown" ones remind me of Disney's Bambi- deer don't get much cuter than these.
And then, another:
And one more set in black:
I am quite fond of my (dear) deer - in all of their forms.
