Then And Now #56 - Levi's For Gals

Levi's For Gals - like these from a 1969 magazine advertisement:

Red with white polka dots! From 1970:

A pretty green pair- 1970 again:

Brown and white stripes (from- you guessed it!) 1970:

And, well, this is me, from my high school yearbook (circa 1972) - but the Levi's for this gal back then were just good old 501's. I actually still have that belt and the striped tank - wish I had the Levi's, but even more than that, I wish they still fit!:

And NOW, there are all sorts of styles available. Here are some examples from the J.C. Penney Catalog. (Have I ever told you that I love Penney's? We used to have a store here in town; I miss it very much. I still order from the catalog, though!)

And, of course you can order online from Levis.com. LOTS of choices there! Surely you can find a pair you like.

Too bad people have to draw on you in the yearbook. I probably have a clear photo of you in the copy I bought. Love the green Levi's. Love T

Tina - I really liked the person that wrote on it, so I didn't mind. :)
