More Finds

I love it when the things I find just seem to coordinate, like those below. An adorable bird trivet, cloth floral napkins, a sash or belt, and a bright orange unused tea towel:
Two of my favorite Veras - a Vera Neumann vintage scarf, and a Vera Bradley mini tote:
I actually found this at Mountain Treasures, not a thrift shop: An Haeger birdhouse vase - it was 50% off, and I've been admiring it for two years, so it finally came home with me this time!

A Laura Ashley pattern, the cutest vintage Hazel Atlas mug, another vase for my collection, and I bought three of those orange pillowcases in the background because I loved the colors and the design:

It's "Time" for Pillow Talk!
Here comes the (green and blue) sun:
And a little bit of Christmas - a tablecloth, some more pillar candle holders (not just for Christmas, of course!), two Gurley candles....
....and some brightly colored vintage gift tags:
Until next time.....

I love those napkins and the green and blue sun. Where are you finding all this goodness? I've got to start hitting the yard sales with you!

I love the pattern on the pillowcases too. And the gift tags bring back a lot of sweet Christmas memories of when I was a kid in the 70s.

If Midcenturymadam does hit the sales with you, she better pick me up on her way through Jackson.
I love those wild pillowcases.
You are a shopper extraordinare.
Do you file all the patterns? How do you keep them all organized?

farmlady - "Shopper extraordinare", huh? I like that!
I really don't have all that many patterns. I do have them in file boxes - but I wouldn't exactly call them organized....

(Vickie in Sacto horning in again here - if I should go away, tell me). I'm pea green with envy here at all your GREAT finds! You've sure got a knack for putting things together - simply adorable. Looks like I must head for the hills soon to do some picking too! Haven't been up there for a while. I see a little road trip in my future! Do you have a store up there?

BTW...Could you all tell me if it's "kosher" to join in, or is it a friends/relative only sort of thing? I stumbled upon a great little blog (Atomic Ranch House) & that led me to here & then to check out some of the other places I see here. I'm not real familiar with "blogosphere" etiquette so help me out & let me know if I'm out of line. Thank you

Vickie in Sacto- Horning in?? Are you kidding me? Of COURSE it is okay for you to join in on the fun!! I am absolutely delighted when someone new discovers our blog - and is interested enough to comment regularly! It's my favorite thing about blogging!
We have a booth in a shop where we sell stuff, Mountain Treasures in Sonora.
You most definitely should NOT go away, in fact, I'll be upset if you do. PLEASE continue to read and comment. Say anything at all any old time you like.
I truly apologize for not having responded sooner to your lovely comments. Thank you so much for stumbling upon us, like I said, I am truly delighted to have you!

Oh no! no! No apologies for responses! I was just feeling my way around & thought it a good idea to ask if I should! Such a lovely place. And, the very sweet lady at Atomic Ranch House persuaded me to start a blog of my own. Verry skeptical at first (scarry thought in fact) but I did it anyway because you girls have such fun. It is set up & not pretty like the rest of yours yet but I guess I can work on that with time & figuring it all out. The very major stumbling block I'm having right now is how the heck to make it "public". Should be a simple task I guess but I'm having FITS trying to make it work. When I get it figured out, we'll have "Open House" and you're all invited. Thanks again for your kind words and lovely blog.

So glad you saw my reply, Vickie! And I'll be waiting for you to let us know how/when we can see YOUR blog!

Well, setting up this blog thing is taking forever because I'm a total techno dweeb. I'm progressing but everything is a painfully slow learning process & I fear I may be tearing out the last of what's left of my hair! Hopefully it'll be ready before I kick the dang bucket!
