Then And Now #15 Kraft Caramels and Apple Hill

Delicious Kraft Caramels - shown here in an advertisement from 1956:
And here is how the package looks today:
I did finally make it up to Apple Hill last week with my sisters. It was raining, but that didn't stop us!
We only visited the one apple ranch, Boa Vista, which is where I snapped the picture of the caramel apples, above. I didn't buy one of those, but I did get a slice of Dutch apple pie, and some crisp and delicious Braeburn apples.
We went to high school with a lot of kids whose families have apple ranches in the area. I hadn't been up there in such a long time, I was so happy we got to go.

Yummy. Sorry I haven't sent you the Apple Hill photo yet. I can't figure out how to do it since it is a scanned photo and in a different place in my computer than my other photos. I will figure it out somehow. BTW, I was at the Snowline Hospice again Tuesday and the cute red western top was long gone. But not forgotten. Love T

I see that you & your sister have found some wonderful items while out junkin'. I am so glad tomorrow is Friday. :) I'm itching to go to a yard sale. xoxo, Joanna

I clicked on the picture and can read the recipe. Think I'll try it. I think it's so great that you and your sisters do fun things like this together. I am off to Eureka Springs this morning, but wanted to drop in and say Hi. Have a very nice weekend! Twyla
