Alphabet Cards

My sister found these adorable alphabet flash cards at a shop in Sutter Creek. Sorry about the letter "I" being so big at the end! Spelling out my name with them did not work as planned!

They just have the most adorable pictures on them! Apparently, they are reproduced from a 1940's book published in Great Britain.

They are from T. J. Whitney's Traditional Toys.

My sister plans to use them to help her grandson learn his ABC's!

You bet he is! Especially cute one day when watching Ratatouille, I said something about the mouse and he said, "Actually it's not a mouse, it's a rat". I was astonished that at 3 years old he used the word 'actually' in a sentence!!! Love the little guy!! Grandma Lori

I found some vintage learning cards recently, too! I use them when I volunteer at my children's elementary school. I love reading through your posts....so much interesting information!! Have a nice day.
