Disneyland Silhouettes

On Main Street in Disneyland there is a little studio where they will cut a silhouette for you. This one, below, may look like it was done when I was little girl, but it wasn't. I just had a short curly perm at the time. I think I may have been 19 or 20, I'm not sure. When I came across it years later, it was stained, so I had to get creative when I framed it to cover up the stained portion!
This one was just done in the last couple of years. I didn't want to spend the extra money for one of the frames they have at the shop, because they wouldn't have matched anyway.
So now, they sit side by side on a shelf - another little daily reminder of my love for Disneyland.

I always wanted a silhouette. Maybe one of these days when I get rid of my double chin! I really love yours. Very cute. And Faith, the short curly perm on Heidi didn't really work out too well. Love T

I always wanted a silhouette but never got one! I love both of yours. (And I remember the short, curly perm!)

We just had this done on Sunday for my daughter! The lady who cut it said she has been doing silhouettes at Disneyland for 30 years. Wow!
