Sunflowers

Sunflowers are the topic today, simply because they are pretty!
I found this colorful arrangement in Sunset Magazine. Have I mentioned before how much I love Sunset?

Napkins designed by Vera Neumann, from a thrift shop:

Another arrangement, this one found inside of a book I found recently on flower arranging (more about that in an upcoming post):
Sunflowers on a lovely apron, another thrift shop find:
A wonderful photograph from Better Homes And Gardens Magazine:
And these were found at a thrift store, too (like nearly everything I buy!) - sunny sunflowers for crafting:

Have yourself a sunshine day!

Love that apron. I have a few vintage flower arranging books, I will be waiting to see if the one you blog on is one of the same ones. The photo looks familiar. Thanks for the happy start to the day. Love T

Sunflowers remind me so much of summmer. They are the epitome of summertime and the "beauties" of warm weather.
Love that apron...

You've reminded me of how cheery sunflowers really are.
Sunset magazine - especially vintage issues - was a favorite of mine as well.
