My Favorite Framed Prints #29

I'm at it again with the framing. Found this lovely gold vintage frame at a thrift store last week, and when I took down my 2009 Alphonse Mucha Calendar from Pomegranate Press, I discovered the perfect print to place inside. (Perhaps you may remember the others I had done in the past?)

I'm sorry it didn't fit entirely on my scanner, but you can see the pretty detailing on the frame. I derive a great deal of pleasure from the pairing of a perfect frame and print.
I ask you - is this not lovely?

I think it is just perfect. You have such a good eye for matching up the frames and prints. I have always loved Mucha. Bravo Heidi. I am excited because yesterday I found a watercolor/colored pencil painting I did about 4 years ago that I forgot all about, of nasturtiums and paisley designs, with lovely colors, and now I want to get that framed. Framing a piece of art or a print just adds that certain something, doesn't it? Love T
