I remember my Mom and Grandma using Crisco all the time! I love those aprons and the blue bowls in the background!
Look at those frosted cupcakes around the base of that bigger cake... Who says cupcakes are only a modern theme!
Give me a cute red gingham apron and a nice plate of fried chicken and I will be in heaven. I think I have the first cook-booklet too. Very yummy post. Love T
Hi Carol- i love the aprons and the bowls, too! That gives me an idea - wouldn't it be great fun to try to recreate that scene for a photo shoot? I would love to do something like that!
those running gingerbread men cookies were cute. yup i grew up with crisco. i sure could use some help with pie crust failure.
Yep, I do have that booklet. I like the idea of recreating the cover picture. Love T
The most noteworthy thing about Crisco now is...it's no longer made by Proctor & Gamble. J.L. Smucker (as in "with a name like...") acquired Crisco, Jif peanut butter and Folgers coffee from P & G
