Then And Now #41 - Wish-Bone Salad Dressing

It's all about Wish-Bone Salad Dressing today. First up - two cute ads from 1960:
With the little Genie- apparently he granted wishes involving salad dressing:
They introduced some Low Calorie dressings in 1961:
And here's an ad from 1979:
Another, this one from 2004:
And - the "Now" - as in "in our refrigerator right now":
Does everybody else have a ton of different salad dressings in their fridge, or is it just us?

Yes, we have a lot of salad dressings. Our problem is when they get about an inch from the bottom then a certain someone decides to open a new one and the old one just sits and waits and waits and waits. Is it a good or bad thing that they never seem to spoil? I always loved Wishbone Italian. Love T

ditto for us - everyone is amazed when they come to our house and there is and entire shelf in the door of the fridge just for dressings. wishbone used to make a dijon vinegarette that was lo-cal and made a great marinade for chicken and then they just stopped making it - boo hoo it was sooo good.

I've got that same shelf on the door of the fridge with all the salad dressings. Oh, wait. Maybe it's two shelves!

I love the Wish-Bone genie! Why are cute little product mascots like this so scarce these days? It's just so "genie-us"!

Oh yes! We all like different dressings and some of us like two different kinds. Adds up quick in a family of four! The old ads were so cute. Twyla
