I believed that I was very lucky girl when I found this gorgeous framed motto print at a thrift store in Sacramento. I spotted it as soon as I walked in. It wasn't priced, so I asked the nice young lady at the register. When she said $1.99, I tried to act casual as I placed it in my basket! I LOVE it:
And this bright and colorful frame I found at Dollar Tree ended up being just the right thing to frame this sweet little vintage Easter card, don't you think?

You definitely have found your calling when it comes to marrying prints/photos with frames. Your pretty motto is lovely and I am so glad you found it. That was a very fun day. I was exhausted. Definitely shop 'til you drop, and all at thrift stores! Love it! Love T
$1.99 - be still my beating heart! you have found your calling (besides blogging)
At last I get to see it! Beautiful. I can't believe $1.99.
And Tina's right on how beautifully you match frames with whatever you're framing!
Oh! I love your framed motto print! That is something that I have been collecting lately and have come to love the sentimental poems, artwork and the beautiful old frames. You Were a lucky girl to find it for $1.99! Twyla
Both of your prints are Beautiful... I love how "they" worded things back then... it's a lost art these days... a true shame, I believe.
Just had to chuckle at "tried to act casual" ... LOL ... I get like that, too, when I'm knocked off of my feet by amazingly low prices... It just makes "The Hunt" all the more fun, I think!
Hope your week is going well...
Blessings...

Oh, Kari - I had to go read it again after reading your comment , and that made me cry.
