Tupperware Through The Years

A Tupperware party back in 1958:

And an advertisement from 1962:

One from 1963:

Another party? From 1966:

Doesn't everybody have some Tupperware in their kitchen? 1973:

And bright colors from 1975:

I seriously considered dragging out all of my Tupperware and taking a picture of it to post with these.
I just couldn't do it. Sorry.

My favorite pieces are my two bread containers which I use to transport my biscuits to the Kelsey Community Association breakfasts once a month. Tomorrow is the day this month. Together they hold exactly the right amount (about 50 to 60 buttered biscuits) and any crumbs stay put. I got both of them at either thrift stores or garage sales. Good ol' Tupperware. Love T

I love Tupperware and my Mother always had a cabinet full. I wish I still had the little Tupperware bowl keychain she gave me. I LOVED that little thing. I still use pieces that my mom handed down to me over the years.

The harvest gold and avocado green Tupperware canisters shoot me right back to the seventies. I get nostalgic about the craziest things sometimes.

gotta love it. i loved the tall plastic glasses w/ lids of course that came in different colors. i was mad when they dropped them from the line and went to the shorter blue ones. oh well. so many wonderful items.

Heidi, this has got to be one of my favorite posts ever! Tupperware looms so large in my growing up years. I used to Love going to Tupperware parites when I was young and even became a salesman in my early twenties for two or three years. Love the stuff and still have lots! It certainly revolutionized kitchens, didn't it?! Have a great day! Twyla

I just saw a set of avocado green cannisters at Mother Lode Christian School Thrift store. Every house I've ever lived in seems to eat lids to Tupperware.
