Presenting beautiful Barbie in her "Movie Date" dress. I thought the orange clutch was a nice addition:
The photo of the dress below is from Barbie Fashion Vol.1, 1959-1967 by Sarah Sink Eames - a fabulous book to have if you are a Barbie collector.
Watch for upcoming posts featuring more pieces from Barbie's wardrobe (or, more precisely, from inside this carrying case!)
Barbie and I both love playing "Dress-Up!"

Very cute, Barbie, I hope you enjoy your movie. Iron Man II perhaps? Love T
Barbie says she would very much like to see Iron Man II, and if Ken won't take her, maybe I will!
Tell her I am coming too, and probably my friends Denise and Karen. (We love Robert Downey Jr.) Love T
I love anything Barbie - hope she has fun at the movies!
i never had a barbie until my see's barbie - i love your posts about her.
Such a pretty Barbie dress, love those old ones!
Just starting to look through your blog at past posts, all those iris are beautiful in the last one. My big sis in California just sent me pictures of an iris farm she visited near her home, so many different colors, all beautiful!
Heidi, I have that exact same case, (yes, it's mine, not Lindsey's) but Barbies dress is green instead of red! Twyla
I always thought that was a very pretty little dress. I don't have that one... yet! Hehe! I must have them all someday! I love that case! One of my favorites! I was always fond of the "Sophisticated Lady" dress!

I love Barbie, too. I recently got a repro original Barbie, and have gotten some of her neat, vintage outfits from Ebay. Today's Barbie fashions don't even come close.
